GO Pass is a free, monthly progression track; GO Pass Deluxe is its paid tier. Reaching a Major Milestone rank unlocks a bonus that stays active until that month's pass ends — October 2026's Rank 25 milestone happens to be a gifting bonus, which is easy to mix up with the base game's gift limits.
What the October 2026 milestone actually changes
At Rank 25, free GO Pass raises all three of these:
- Open up to 40 Gifts a day (base game: 30).
- Receive up to 125 Gifts a day from spinning PokéStop and Gym Photo Discs (base game has no official daily cap on this; it's gated by how many Photo Discs you spin and how full your bag already is).
- Hold 10 more Gifts in your Item Bag than your normal cap.
GO Pass Deluxe raises the same three further, at the same Rank 25 milestone:
- Open up to 50 Gifts a day.
- Receive up to 150 Gifts a day.
- Hold 20 more Gifts in your bag.
What it doesn't change
- Sending. You can still send only one gift per friend per day, and only once they've opened the last one you sent — see the base gift rules. No GO Pass milestone raises this; it's a per-friendship limit, not a daily total.
- Your permanent bag cap. The Trainer Level reward that raises your base carry limit to 40 at level 43+ is separate and permanent. The GO Pass bonus stacks an extra 10 (or 20 with Deluxe) on top of whatever your permanent cap already is.
- What's inside a gift, including the 7 km egg pool — the milestone changes quantity, not contents.
It's temporary
GO Pass Major Milestone bonuses last only until that month's pass ends, then reset with next month's pass — which may or may not repeat a gifting bonus. Don't build a long-term gifting habit (like clearing out a huge friend list) around a number that's only guaranteed for the current month.
